Biography:

The list of works provided by Garbayo contains the following works: "Himnos: Qui Paraclitus diceris, E-Tc; Veni Creator, E-Tc. Motetes: Ave sanctissimum, 4V, E-E; Domine, memento mei, E-Mmc; Madrigales: Navego en hondo mar enbravecido, 4V. Varia: Misa, E-Mmc; Passio, E-Mmc".

According to Carmelo Solís Rodríguez, there are two responsories for four voices by Miguel de Cañas (Ne recorderis and Libera me, Domine) copied in the last four sheets of paper of E-BA 8 [RISM T1009], a printed book by José de Torres.

The manuscript E-BA s.s. copied in the 18th century contains eight Magnificats, seven by Cristóbal de Morales and one attributed to the unknown Capblanco; this name is perhaps a "phantom" attribution as a result of misreading an ascription.
