According to Carmelo Solís Rodríguez, there are two responsories for four voices by Miguel de Cañas (Ne recorderis and Libera me, Domine) copied in the last four sheets of paper of E-BA 8 [RISM T1009], a printed book by José de Torres.

The manuscript E-BA s.s. copied in the 18th century contains eight Magnificats, seven by Cristóbal de Morales and one attributed to the unknown Capblanco; this name is perhaps a "phantom" attribution as a result of misreading an ascription.

The famous theorist and composer Vicente Lusitano, active in Italy, should not be confused with another portuguese composer, also known as Lusitano, Manuel Leitao [Leitam, Leitán] Avilez [Avilés, Avilés Lusitano], who worked in Úbeda (Jaén) and at the Royal Chapel in Granada; the latter composer is the author of the works in E-GRcr 1 and E-GRcr 6.
