Biography:

The name "Mathia Flamengho" of this co-printer/editor of Villena's book of Magnificats, printed in Milan 1548, coincides with that of the composer Matthias Hermann Werrecore, often referred to as Mathias Fiamengo, chapelmaster at Milan's cathedral at that time. It is tempting to suggest that they could have been the same person.
