Biography: 

Almost nothing is known about this composer. A piece attributed to him, Puse mis amores, was published in Fuenllana's Orphenica lyra (1554). On 25 June 1554, he applied for the position of chapelmaster at Málaga cathedral, together with Rodrigo Ordóñez, Juan Cepa, Rodrigo de Cevallos, Gonzalo Cano and Melchor Gávez; in the end Cepa obtained the position.
