Fernando II of Aragon, known as "el Católico", King of Aragón (1479-1516), of Castile (as Fernando V, 1474-1504), of Sicily (as Fernando II, 1468-1516), of Naples (as Fernando III, 1504-1516), of Sardinia (as Fernando II, 1479-1516) and of Navarre (as Fernando I, 1512-1515). He was regent of the crown of Castile between 1507 and 1516, owing to Juana's illness (her daughter), after the death of her husband, Philip the Fair.
