Lasegue (Segue) Díez, María Gertrudis Teresa Josefa
As seen in documents consulted by María Gembero-Ustárroz in Madrid, Archivo Histórico Nacional (E-Mah), María Gertrudis Teresa Josefa Lasegue (Segue) Díez entered the Monastery of Santa Ana de Ávila on 15 June 1760, together with her younger sister María Teresa. María Gertrudis took her final vows on 18 August 1761. According to Alfonso de Vicente (1989), p. 16, she was born in Oviedo in 1743, and died in Ávila in 1781. De Vicente (1989), p. 18, also indicates that the two sisters Lasegue (Segue) had studied with Martín Vidal, singer and instrumentist (violon, violon) at the Oviedo Cathedral.
