The main scribe's inscription on fol. 52r reads: "Scriptum per me Desiderium Johannis / Clericum AEseteñ". Perhaps "AEseteñ" could refer to Aesernia, Latin name of Isernia, a small location south east of the Abbey of Montecassino in the Kingdom of Naples. For a recent discussion of the manuscript's origin, see Ros-Fábregas (2016-2017).
For a digital reproduction of the manuscritpt, see CEDOC.
