There was a misunderstanding in the bibliography regarding the signatures of the manuscripts of the Monasterio de Santa María, Guadalupe (E-GU). The manuscripts E-GU 2 and E-GU 3 were often described, respectively, as "Choirbook I" and "Choirbook II", following the article by Crawford, "Two Choirbooks of Renaissance Polyphony at the Monasterio de Nuestra Señora of Guadalupe" (1977); RISM and the Census-Catalogue follow the signatures given by Crawford. However, the choirbook described by Crawford as "Choirbook I" is not E-GU 1, but E-GU 2; and the "Choirbook II" in Crawford is not E-GU 2, but E-GU 3. E-GU 4 was also often erroneously described as E-GU (3). See the article by Francisco Rodilla, "El 'canto de órgano' en el Real Monasterio de Santa María de Guadalupe: fuentes, repertorio y compositores" (2013), which clarifies the signatures and the contents of the four polyphonic choirbooks in Guadalupe. He also provides information about the erroneous signatures that the books received in the bibliography.
