Physical description: 

Choirbook of [384] pages, measuring 53 x 40 cm. The catalog of the Biblioteca Nacional provides the following description of the binding: "Enc[uadernación] del siglo XVI en piel de la época; ambas tapas con dos recuadros rectangulares formados por triple hilo en seco adornados con hierros florales dorados en los ángulos. Cruce de hilos en las tapas formando un hexágono y en el centro, hierro dorado con escudo real; lomo con ocho nervios, cuyos entrenervios están decorados con hierros de florones dorados; cortes rojos". The manuscript had been previously in the possession of the composer/musicologist/bibliophile Francisco Asenjo Barbieri (1823-1894). It contains three polyphonic masses by Clemens non Papa (Missa Caro mea, Missa Ecce quam bonum, Missa Pastores quidnam vidistis) and two by Morales (Missa L'homme armé, Miissa Si bona suscepimus).
