In 1997, the two public libraries in Olot, Biblioteca Municipal (1905- ) and Biblioteca Popular "Jaume Bofill i Mates" (1918- ), merged their collections into a new library: Biblioteca Marià Vayreda. Thus, the manuscript known as "Cançoner Musical d'Olot" or "Cançoner Musical de la Garrotxa", usually cited with the signature Olot, Biblioteca Pública, Ms. I-VIII, nº97, changed its location and signature. We thank the director of the new library, Carme Simon, who informed us that the manuscript now has not a topographic signature, like the other manuscripts in the library, since it is kept in a security safe with the signature "M-0".
